RamaDBK President Mr. Jagath C. Ramanayake visited Mongolia on September 2008 together with JUMVEA members. The focus of this visit was mainly on the Japanese motor vehicle business between Japan and Mongolia. Mr. Ramanayake had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Shishmishig Jugnee, the Director General of the Trade and Economic Cooperation Department in Mongolia.
The Japanese delegation presented the benefits and values of importing used Japanese vehicles to Mongolia. The Mongolian officials pointed out the need for after sales service to the Japanese delegation. RamaDBK has been exporting vehicles to Mongolia for the past couple of years, however this was the fist time we had a chance to officially meet and discuss with the government bodies.
Mr. Ramanayake also took this opportunity to meet up with numerous Mongolian car dealers and discuss future business opportunities regarding Japan used cars.
