President of Rama DBK Ltd., Mr. Jagath C. Ramanayake and two Sales Coordinators, Mr. Charles Kilinda and Mr. Tatsuya Kaga visited Tanzania on a business promotion event, in Dar Es Salaam and also in the town Moshi which is located near Mt. Kilimanjaro.

RamaDBK held two separate events in Dar Es Salaam. The first event was organized on the 9th of October 2009 at Mango Garden entertained by a live band called Akudo Impact. The main purpose for this event was to introduce RamaDBK to the Tanzanian people and to open a friendly & relaxed dialog between RamaDBK and all Tanzanian customers.

The second event was organized on the 10th October, at Golden Tulip Hotel. We invited regular customers who have been loyal to RamaDBK in the past years , and organized a small presentation to show how RamaDBK has grown in the Japanese used vehicle business since it was established 20 years ago.
RamaDBK also took this opportunity to educate customers with ongoing fraud vehicle exporters in Japan and how some of the none certified exporters might try to manipulate them.
Following the presentation, RamaDBK organized a cocktail party, where RAmaDBK got the chance to meet more than 150 customers face to face. This was a great opportunity for RamaDBK to meet our customers and build up trust, as we usually talk to them through the phone or by email without actually seeing their face.

We held third event in the town Moshi on the 11th of October with much appreciated assistance from our customers, specially Mr. Menti, Mr. Kimaro and Mr. Rodrick who organized this fantastic event with the attendance of about 80 people. Among the invited was His Excellency Lameck T. Kaaya the mayor of moshi and the director of the municipal council.
We also explained why not to believe in each and every Japanese dealer, because some of them will offer the vehicle without having them as their inventory and most unfortunately they will take all your money away without supplying any products. There are many none certified & unqualified exporters who will try to manipulate you.
Unfortunately some famous Japanese vehicle portals also encourage these unreliable companies just to make money, as all exporters who advertise on these portals have to pay annual subscriptions.

Most importantly we believe is the reliability, that is one of our main reasons to visit Tanzania and to show our attitude and that we are serious in this business. Thus, we had many quality conversations with people who attended to this event and hope our statement helps all participants to start business with RamaDBK.
Most of all RamaDBK was welcomed with open hearts by the Tanzanian people and we were very touched by their hospitality, and we would like to thank everyone who helped us and who came to meet us regardless of their busy schedules. Specially for the customers who traveled all the way from Kenya.
