RamaDBK sponsors the publication of newspaper page to celebrate the Indepedence Day of Sri Lanka.

On February 4th, the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Japan had a whole page published in the Japan News, the English language edition of the Yomiuri Shimbun, the biggest national newspaper in Japan. The page includes several articles from the President of Sri Lanka, H.E. Maithripala Sirisena, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E Tilak Marapana, and the Ambassador of Sri Lanka in Japan, Prof. Dammika Ganganath Dissanayaka. The articles stress the efforts of Sri Lanka to strengthen democracy and to increase the prosperity of the nation, and reminds also the importance of political and cultural ties between Sri Lanka and Japan.

RamaDBK, one of the main exporters of used and new Japanese vehicles to Sri Lanka, was one of the sponsors of the publication of the page in the newspaper. Else, the president of RamaDBK, Mr Jagath Ramanayake, was also supporting the page as president of the Sri Lanka Business Council, the association of Sri Lanka nationals managing businesses in Japan.
