Subaru has announced the date of release of the new Subaru Forester during a special event. The gasoline engine version will be released on the market on July 19th 2018 and the mild hybrid version will be put on sale on September 14th.
Many customers in Japan and abroad are waiting enthusiastically, the Forester being a very popular SUV in many countries. The gasoline engine version has a 2.5 liter engine, the hybrid version will be equipped with a 2 liters engine with a mild hybrid system called the e-Boxer by Subaru. The new model is also using for the first time the “Driver Monitoring System” devised to increase the safety and the comfort of driving. The Subaru Forester would be available in 9 different colors.

Under the motto “Dynamic&Solid”, the new Forester, while still a compact SUV, is designed with much interior space for passengers. Cargo space at the rear is also larger, perfect for transporting leisure goods for families. The dashboard and the front of the cabin have been redesigned to be more comfortable for the driver while increasing the driving safety. The new Forester would be available in 9 different colors.
The car is powered by a 2.5 liters 4 cylinders inline direct injection engine. Depending on the terrain and the weather conditions, the “symetrical AWD” (All Wheel Drive) system of the Forester can be controlled with the X-Mode button situated in the middle to the left of the driver seat. With this new model, Subaru is also introducing for the first time its “Driver Monitor System”, an intelligent computer system to assist the driver.
