RamaDBK headquarter is situated in the city of Yokohama, at the heart of one of the leading cities in the Japanese car industry.

This month, Nissan motor and Yokohama City have just launched a new revolutionary one-way car sharing service for the citizens, called Choimobi.

Drivers can rent a ultra-compact electric car in one of the numerous stations in the city and drive it until parking the car back in any other station across the town. The initial fleet of vehicles is made of 30 units but it would be expanded to 100 vehicles by next year. The City of Yokohama hopes that this car sharing service will help easing the traffic congestion, reduce air pollution and improve access to tourist areas. The service is available since October 11th for the customers who have registered since the end of September.

During the launch ceremony Nissan Vice President, Mr Otani, has declared: “we want to create the future of mobility for the world right here in Yokohama where Nissan’s headquarters is based”.

Whatever this future of mobility can be, RamaDBK will do its best to bring it from Yokohama to any other Right Hand Drive country in the world.
