Japan Used Motor Vehicle Exporters Association organized a briefing for all members of the association in 19th November 2012. An special briefing was held for members who could not participate for annual business trip which was organized to Myanmar few weeks back.
The president of JUMVEA Mr. Sato and vice president Mr. Warashina explained about the business tour and the vehicle market in Myanmar. Especially they focused their speech on regulations of Myanmar government and market research facts that would be benefited to JUMVEA members who are trying to enter this new market.

Furthermore, the RamaDBK president Mr. Jagath Ramanayake also pointed out in his speech that the Myanmar regulations are based on the manufacturing year of the vehicle not on the first registering year.
More than 60 companies were participated for this meeting. And most of the major auctions and newspaper reporters were present. JUMVEA has already announced next briefing will be held in Osaka on Thursday, 13th of December 2012 for Osaka members as well.
