Year Restrictions
Importer must have owned the vehicle for not more than six months before the date of shipping to the country.
Automobiles are restricted as to size and engine capacity. All private (non-commercial) importations of motor vehicles must be supported by a letter of authorization from the Transport Control Department.
All two-stroke motor-cycles are prohibited from being imported into Bermuda. Four-stroke motor-cycles which have an engine capacity greater than 150cc (15hp/11.25kw) are prohibited from being imported except on authority, and in conformity with, the terms and conditions, of a permit from the Minister of Transport.
