The Japan Used Motor Vehicle Exporters Association (JUMVEA) is the only official association of the exporters of vehicles from Japan, accepting as members only serious companies that are never making troubles and that are working to keep the good reputation of the Japanese export business. RamaDBK has been a member of the JUMVEA for many years and RamaDBK CEO, Mr Jagath Ramanayake, is one of the directors of the association. The JUMVEA is regularly organizing events and seminars for her members. On February 15th, the JUMVEA has invited members to assist to a seminar about the trends of the used vehicle exports from Japan. The main speaker of the seminar was a specialist of used car business who had been working for 30 years in one of the big used vehicle auctions. Yet, as he had to talk about the Sri Lankan market, he has requested RamaDBK president to make a short presentation of the current trades on the Sri Lankan market. Mr Ramanayake has explained that the Sri Lankan market was offering more and more opportunities after a few difficult months last year.
