RamaDBK CEO assists to the annual event of the VIAL in Sri Lanka.

RamaDBK company took part to the annual event organized by the VIAL (Vehicle Importer Association Lanka), the official association of vehicle importers in Sri Lanka. The event took place at the Galadari hotel in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on July 15th. As the vehicle import business has become very important for Sri Lanka economy, the deputy minister of Policy Planning and Economic Development, Mr Harsha De Silva, was also invited.

The VIAL annual meeting was organized with the support of many prominent sponsors from Sri Lanka but also from Japan as, for instance, the JUMVEA (Japanese Used Motor Vehicle Exporter Association), the shipping company ECL, the motor vehicle inspection and many others. A representative from Toyota had come specially to present the new Toyota Sienta Minivan. RamaDBK company was also one sponsor of the event.

RamaDBK CEO, Mr Jagath Ramanayake, assisted to the meeting and made a speech before the audience.  With some other prominent vehicle dealers in Sri Lanka, he was invited to lit the traditional Sri Lankan oil lamp to celebrate the end of the event.

Mr Ramanayake is involved in the promotion of trade and relations between Sri Lanka and Japan, more than ever before as Sri Lanka has become one of the mail export markets for RamaDBK company.
