RamaDBK CEO celebrates Sri Lanka Independence Day with officials in Tokyo.

RamaDBK CEO, Mr Jagath Ramanayake, has taken part to the celebrations of the 67th Independence Day of Sri Lanka in Tokyo on February 4th.

The ceremony has taken place in a large event hall in the center of Tokyo, not far from the Sri Lanka Embassy.

The programmes of the celebrations included the hoisting of the national flag, the rendering of the national anthem, the lighting of the traditional oil lamp, some religious observances and a dance performance. Messages from the President, the Prime Minister and the Minister of External Affairs of Sri Lanka have been read before the guests. Sri Lanka Ambassador, H.E. Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda has also made a greetings speech.
