RamaDBK CEO, Mr Ramanayake, has sponsored an event to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Sri Lankan national hero Anagarika Dhamapala last year. In January, Mr Ramanayake has received thanks letter for his support from Anagarika Dhamapala friendship Association.
Anagarika Dharmapala is a famous Buddhist revivalist and writer who has worked all his life for the revival of Buddhism in India and for the liberation of Sri Lanka from the British colonial rule. He is considered as a modern hero in Sri Lanka, as he has made a major contribution to the rejuvenation of Buddhism in Sri Lanka and to the constitution of the Ceylonese nationalism.
Mr Ramanayake is personally involved in many actions to support the business as a whole between Japan and Sri Lanka, including also, of course, the car business.
