Charging the battery is one of the main burdens for electric vehicles. Japanese car manufacturers are actively looking for new ways to make it easier to charge the batteries.

Toyota has designed a new system to recharge batteries just by parking the vehicle. This technology, called magnetic resonance doesn’t require any physical contact with the battery. The battery is automatically charging every time it is positioned over a charging coil fitted inside the road.

Toyota is currently testing the system with 3 hybrid vehicles and is planning to commercialize the system if the tests are conclusive.

Nissan, that is manufacturing the fully-electric small car LEAF, is seeing even further. It is investigating the feasibility of a new technology for charging electric vehicles while driving, with wireless charging points fitted inside the pavement of highways.

RamaDBK is offering a wide range of Hybrid vehicles, very popular in more and more countries all over the world.
