New outlook for the development of new vehicles and luxury models in Myanmar.

Japanese made cars have been for long the most popular second-hand vehicles imported in Myanmar, mainly owing to their reliabililty, the wide availability of spare parts and a large number of recent models already on the market since the easier regulations from year 2012. According to the dealer Mr Soe Tun from Farmer Car Showroom, even if more Korean or Chinese cars are offered on the market for a slightly cheaper price, people still prefer Japanese cars because of their reputation and of their quality. The dominance of the Japanese cars on the market will continue for long, even more as Honda, Nissan and Suzuki brands are gaining in popularity because of their compact models.

The new trend of the market is the development of a niche for some high status and luxury vehicles. According to the consulting company Frost and Sullivan that has issued a report about the perspectives for Myanmar car market, the segment of luxury cars will grow 7.8% a year from year 2014 onwards to reach 95000 vehicles around 2019.

RamaDBK has a specialist of Myanmar market, Mr Myint Swe, speaking and writing Burmese language fluently to help customers. He will be happy to deliver to our customers in Myanmar all the vehicles they need, trucks, buses, passenger cars, including luxury models.
