Mr Anthony has been managing a spare parts and vehicle import company in Namibia for the last 10 years. Now that his business is prosperous and well established in his country, he has decided to come to Japan for the first time in order to meet his suppliers and to check some vehicles by himself on site.
During his one week trip in Japan, he has crossed the country from West to East, visiting vehicle auction sites and domestic used cars dealers. The last 2 days of his trip were devoted to visiting his supplier, RamaDBK company, in Yokohama.
Our spare parts specialist in RamaDBK, Mr Kodama, has been shipping some parts to Mr Anthony for the past few years. Mr Anthony and Mr Kodama were happy to meet for the first time. Knowing each other’s face is very important for smooth relations in business.
But for Mr Anthony, visiting RamaDBK was also the occasion to study some new business opportunities.
Mr Anthony has spent a whole day checking all sort of Japanese vehicles in the large yard of RamaDBK in the East of Tokyo. He has discovered how advantageous it may be to ship both vehicles and parts in a single container in order to spare on freight costs.
As Mr Anthony is going back to Namibia with many new projects for his import business, RamaDBK spare parts and vehicles sales representatives will do their best to support his success in Namibia.
